(1) Hight Duty Cycle Rated Precision Gearing Design

• Heat treated, high precision, planet gears mounted on high strength & low friction bearings ensure low maintenance, high strength, long life, safe, gearbox performance.
• Sealed planetary gearbox design retains lubricant for constant gear lubrication and results in a low cost, long service interval, high safety factor, gear system.
• The high performance and long lifespan of the gear system is further enhanced by the directing of the cool air motor exhaust air around the gearbox housing to constantly dissipate heat away from the gears.

(2) Internal Overload Limiter Mechanism

To ensure maximum safety an internally located , adjustable , overload limiter [OL] mechanism, factory pre-set to activate at WLL x 125%, is fitted to all YSA-E models as standard.

(3) Air-Lift Vane Design Air Motor

• The high air motor starting torque, even at lower air pressure, is possible as a result of the AIR-LIFT vane & air motor design which uses compressed air energy to lift and maintain high vane contact pressure with the cylinder surface from start-up.
• High durability , low friction vane material ensures high hoist performance, long vane life and reduced air motor maintenance.

(4) Automatic Safety Disc Brake

The asbestos - free material disc brake operates automatically when the main air supply is closed or in the event of an air supply failure during operation.

(5) Emergency Stop System

In accordance with EU regulations when the E-STOP emergency button located on the pendant control is activated, air is directed to the main air supply shut-off valve in the air motor which results in the closing of the main air supply to the air motor.

(6) Load Chain

High Quality, Gr 80 DAT case hardened load chain for high durability and strength.

(7) Load Chain Travel Limit Control

• Chain stops are attached to the load chain at the UP / DOWN travel limit points on both ends of the load chain.
• Such chain stops activate the limit control lever when the UP/DOWN chain travel points are reached causing the main air valve & air supply to be mechanically closed which shuts-off the air motor.

(8) Hook

Bearing mounted 360° rotating under hook with high strength safety latch.
